
TrackoField rolled out three major updates this February to enhance goal tracking, task management, and filtering capabilities. These improvements make our field employee management software more powerful and user-friendly.
With the new Goals Module, smarter Task Sorting Enhancements, and Advanced Filtering Options, managers and admins gain greater control over their operations.
Let’s explore how these updates will transform field workforce management.
3 Major Updates in TrackoField for February 2025
Update 1 – The Exclusive “Goals Module” is Up
We are excited to introduce the Goals Module to TrackoField’s web application. Now managers and admins can create, track, and manage goals efficiently.
The admin mobile app will support a view-only mode for goal tracking.
Overview of the Goals Module
The new and exciting “Goals Module” is accessible via the hamburger menu and is permission-based, ensuring only authorized users can access it. On the admin mobile app, users can only view goal progress without editing capabilities.

TrackoField’s New Goals Module
When accessing the module, users will see a Goals Page that includes a search bar for filtering goals by name.
The grid view displays key goal details such as:
- Title
- Status (Active or Inactive)
- Start Date
- Created By
- Last Modified By
- And a color-coded progress bar to indicate performance.
The color code bar will show progress as follows:
- Green (81-100%) represents a well-tracked goal
- Yellow (51-80%) indicates moderate progress,
- Red (0-50%) signals low progress.
💡Users can generate reports, update goal progress via Excel for specific timeframes, and duplicate existing goals in an editable format.
Q.) How to Create a New Goal?
To create a new goal, users must click the Add button in the Goals grid.

A new page opens where users can input details such as Title (mandatory), Description, Object Type (Task, Order, Customer), and applicable criteria.
- Tasks can be tracked based on completion or creation,
- Orders by count or amount, and customers by onboarding

Users also set properties, values, duration (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly), and start dates, and assign the goal to specific teams or individuals.

Add Goals With Preferred Timeline
Goals must be manually activated, or they remain in Draft Mode.
Goals have a default duration of 24 months. Once activated, only the Title, Description, Target Value, and assigned users can be modified. Users can be added but not removed after activation. A disabled goal cannot be re-enabled and must be recreated.
a) Goal Dashboard
Clicking the Report button in the Goals grid opens the goal’s dashboard, where users can monitor progress. The dashboard includes:
- The Goal Name
- Duration
- Start Date
- Created By
- Total Progress Calculation
Progress is calculated based on goal duration—daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly. Users can filter data and view progress comparisons between different timeframes.

b) User-Wise Goals List View
The User-Wise Goals tab displays goals assigned to individual users. The “Add” button is integrated within this section for a seamless experience. Users can filter and search for goals based on team and individual progress.

The Goals Module enhances goal tracking and performance monitoring in TrackoField. With customizable goal creation, real-time tracking, and a dynamic dashboard, managers and admins can streamline performance management efficiently. It’s like a way to track target vs achievements reports.
Update 2 – Sorting Enhancements in Task Module
We have great upgrades in the Task management software by introducing better sorting and filtering options so that you can manage tasks more efficiently.

Earlier you would find it difficult to sort tasks by the “Task Added Date” due to pagination limitations. Now, we have expanded the sorting functionality which includes:
- FE Username – Sort tasks based on the assigned field executive’s username.
- FE Name – Arrange tasks according to the field executive’s name.
- Task Status – Easily group tasks by their current status (e.g., Pending, In Progress, Completed).
- Task Description – Sort tasks alphabetically based on the task details.
- Task Priority – Organize tasks based on their urgency level (e.g., High, Medium, Low).

This update gives you more control over how you view and manage tasks. It makes it more easy and convenient to manage tasks.
Update 3 – Filter Option in Task Grid
To further simplify task searches, we have introduced a Filter Panel, accessible through an icon above the task grid. This feature allows users to filter tasks instantly without needing to save the filters.

Available Filters:
Users can now filter tasks based on multiple fields, including:
- Task ID – Find tasks using their unique identification number.
- Task Description – Search for tasks based on keywords in their descriptions.
- Site Type – Filter tasks based on the type of site assigned.
- Task Priority – View tasks based on priority levels.
- Created By – Identify tasks created by a specific user.
- Scheduled Start/End Time – Narrow down tasks based on their scheduled timeline.
- Task Added Time – Search for tasks based on when they were created.
- Updated Date – Find tasks that have been modified within a specific timeframe.
- Task Status – Filter tasks based on their progress (e.g., Open, In Progress, Completed).

Advanced Options in Filtering Options:
- Filters support conditions like “Contains” and “Starts With”, making searches more precise.
- Multiple filters can be combined using “AND” or “OR” operators, allowing for more advanced and customized searches.

With this new Filter Panel, you can simplify task searches by allowing users to apply multiple filters instantly without saving them. Also, with advanced filtering options, you can quickly find tasks using precise conditions, improving efficiency and accuracy.

- OTP-Verified Orders & Signature Field – We have added an OTP verification and a signature field setting for Field Executives when creating sales orders.
- The total amount for Collection, Pending, and Refund is visible in the Sales Order management software module.
- Enabled leave type visibility on Attendance Summary with hover functionality and the ability to download Attendance Summary data in Excel for the current and previous months.
- Implemented Telugu, Tamil, and Marathi language support in the web application.
- Geofence Alerts – Executives will receive a push notification if they move outside the geofence during an ongoing geofence-verified task.
