TrackoField Release Note - August

We’re excited to announce some recent updates to TrackoField’s field service management software! Our latest enhancements bring a powerful new analytical dashboard, along with significant improvements to the task module, hierarchy management, and workflow features.

7 Major Updates in TrackoField – August 2024

1. Clustering of Geofence Locations on the Map

Update:  We have implemented clustering of geofences on the map to improve visualization and management of geofence data. Instead of showing each individual geofence location, the map groups nearby geofences into clusters. 

Benefits:

  • The geofence clustering feature optimizes the way multiple geofences are displayed on the map.
  • As users zoom in, these clusters break down into individual geofences, offering better visibility and easier management of large sets of geofences.

2. Better Handling of Pending Requests

Update: We have introduced a common pending request feature, enabling easier management of pending requests.

Benefits:

  • It centralizes all pending user requests, whether it’s for attendance changes, leave approvals, or task updates — all into the unified dashboard.
  • This streamlines the review process for managers and administrators, reducing the time spent navigating through different sections for such requests.
  • It ensures that pending items are not overlooked and can be addressed more efficiently.

3. Easy to Manage Transfer Cases along the Hierarchy

Update: The system now supports handling executive transfer cases where employees swap departments or teams. Even if changes are needed mid-hierarchy (such as new reporting lines or different approval flows),

Benefits:

  • The approval hierarchy adapts seamlessly, ensuring approvals and processes continue without disruption.
  • This flexibility helps maintain continuity in workflows when organizational changes occur.

4. Added Signature as POD (Proof of Delivery)

Update: Now the executives can upload their/client’s signature as digital proof of delivery upon completing any assigned task.

Benefits:

  • It ensures enhanced service delivery tracking and adds an extra layer of verification and accountability.

5. Approval Process Revamped

Update: The approval process changed from immediate manager approval to hierarchy-based approval. Requests for leave or expense approval can be routed through multiple layers of the organization based on predefined hierarchies.

Benefits:

  • It adds a layer of structure, ensuring that higher-level managers have visibility of key decisions and approvals when necessary.

6. Payroll Roll-Back

Update: Payroll managers can rework payroll calculations for individual employees without rolling back and rerun the payroll for all employees.

Benefits:

  • This granular control minimizes disruptions and saves time when correcting payroll errors for a single employee, improving the overall payroll management process.

7. Analytics-Rich Dashboard

Update: The Analytics Dashboard provides you with more in-depth insights into attendance trends, task completion rates, leave statistics, and overall performance data. You get customizable reports and real-time data visualization too.

Benefits:

  • The dashboard now empowers managers to make informed decisions and track organizational performance more effectively.

What’s More?

  • Enabled customer selection for Non-Allocated Tasks, allowing more flexibility in task management and assignment.
  •  Added an Employee Code section for all executives (Field Executives, HR, and Managers) on the Web application, enhancing employee identification and management.
  • Made the time field optional when creating tasks, offering more flexibility in creating tasks without time.
  • Integrated an Expense Conveyance Module
  • Added a ‘Date of Joining’ column to the Attendance Report in the Android Admin App, providing more comprehensive employee information.
  • Updated the override request approval process to follow a hierarchy instead of direct approval from the immediate manager.
  • Introduced a new option allowing users to enable or disable the selection of future dates in custom fields, providing flexibility based on individual needs.
  • The reason for rescheduling tasks is now included in the exported Excel report, ensuring better traceability.
  • A profile picture upload option is now available when creating a customer via the web interface.
  • An activity timeline report can now be included in the schedule report section for enhanced reporting.
