Major Updates in TrackoBit’s Web Application for April 2025
Update 1 – Custom Sensor Implementation
Whenever you define the custom name for each sensor. The same will be reflected in the entire application, including the dashboard, graph, and reports.
Moreover, whenever you define the unit of measurement for each sensor dynamically, the same unit will be visible on the dashboard. Except for fuel and temperature sensors.
What’s more?
a. You must define the sensors as type digital and enter their value in case of values 0 and 1
b. Add CAN data as a custom sensor and make it visible on the dashboard.
c. A maximum of 25 sensors per vehicle is allowed, which includes a custom sensor + all other sensors.
Update 2 – Our Own Media Server, MettaX TB is Live
We have successfully implemented our own media server for MettaX video devices.
Now you can easily enjoy:
A) Live Streaming and Playback of video of trip events.
B) The UI/UX is updated for a better user experience.
Update 3 – Escort Fuel Sensor Alerts
Now you can enjoy more fuel security. We have implemented three new alerts related to the escort fuel sensor as mentioned below –
- Fuel tube disconnected alert
- Fuel tube contamination alert
- Fuel sensor battery removal alert
💡 All these alert configurations will be entered through the sensor management.
Update 4 – New GPS Devices Added
We have successfully integrated two new devices with TrackoBit:
- G18-2G Vehicle Tracker
- TRAXSMART-AIS140
Enhancement in Public APIs (for Add vehicle & Add transporter)
In the Add transport API
- Add a Boolean key in the API request body for “Should vehicle be inactive after subscription expires”. This field is available in the WEB UI while adding the transporter as a checkbox option. The functionality will be the same as the UI.
- Add a Boolean key in the API request body for “Overwrite Subscription for all vehicles”. This field is also available in the WEB UI while adding the transporter as a checkbox option. The functionality will be the same as the UI.
In the Add Vehicle API
Add input fields for Subscription due date (Mandatory). This field is available in UI, so the flow will be the same as web UI. The date format will be the same as for the existing key of the subscription start date.
What’s New in TrackoBit’s Android & iOS App?
1. The app now syncs theme color updates with the web, ensuring any client’s theme change is reflected instantly across both platforms.
2. Share URL enhancement!
We have added the custom option for select durations.
If the user selects the custom option, then two additional inputs will be visible to the user.
A) Up to Duration (in minutes)
B) and Up to Fixed Time
3. Vehicle Alias in reports
Vehicle Alias (nickname of vehicle) is added in all reports.
4. Idle marker
Idle marker visibility in the vehicle history and the today history path on the dashboard.
5. MettaX Device with new UI UX
Mettax video device implemented with new UI/UX for a better user experience.
6. We’ve added a new vehicle type—Harvester. Now, easily sync and track data from your agricultural fields using harvesters for seamless management.
What’s More?
- Users are restricted to selecting only up to 6 months older dates for Navilap and 12 months for TrackoBit.
- TrackoBit login page is designed with new elements.
- Users can now view and download up to 1 month of data in the expense report.
- Satellite view option added in share URL and go safe URL.
