Dispatch plans are written to be broken, an order gets added after a trip has already left, a rider needs swapping mid-route, a vehicle needs checking before it ever moves. TrackoMile’s July 2026 release is built for that reality directly, introducing Auto Route Planning for Ad-hoc Orders and mandatory Vehicle Sanity Checks at trip start.
Dispatchers rarely get the luxury of a plan that survives untouched. This release gives them the tools to adjust trips mid-flight without starting over and gives every trip a verified vehicle before it begins, so flexibility and reliability move forward together rather than trading off against each other.
Let’s explore everything that’s new.
Web Updates to TrackoMile in July 2026
Auto Route Planning for Ad-hoc Orders
Trips can now absorb change without being rebuilt from scratch. Orders can be added to planned trips before they start, and to trips that have already started, with automatic route re-optimization handling the adjustment. Unschedule functionality allows teams to pull orders from trips that haven’t yet started, and riders can be reassigned trip through Swap and Transfer operations.

Vehicle Sanity Check at Trip Start
A trip is only as dependable as the vehicle running it. Vehicle Sanity Check Settings, now available under F.O. Settings, allow organizations to configure mandatory vehicle inspection requirements before a trip can begin. On mobile, riders complete a Vehicle Condition Check at trip start.

Activity Timeline Enhancements
An Activity Timeline drawer is added within the Trips tab for improved trip visibility, alongside Preview Excel functionality for Activity Timeline data. Vehicle Sanity Check information is now also visible within the Activity Timeline report.

Android/iOS Updates to TrackoMile in July 2026
- A dedicated Reports section is introduced for managers within the Android application, including a new Activity Timeline Report.
- Proof of Delivery View is added, letting users quickly view uploaded delivery proof from the app. iOS support follows in the next release.
Fail Order functionality, previously available on iOS only, is now supported on the Order Start page across both Android and iOS, allowing riders to mark an order as failed before the order has even begun.
Manual Override for Order Start
A new Manual Override for Order Start gives managers the ability to start an order on behalf of the rider, adding operational flexibility for situations where the rider cannot initiate the order themselves. To protect execution integrity as plans shift, validations now prevent updates to stops that are already in progress or completed.
Important Notes
- Manual Override for Order Start is intended for exception handling; it does not replace standard rider-initiated order start under normal operating conditions.
- Vehicle Sanity Check requirements must be configured under F.O. Settings before they apply at trip start; existing trips are not retroactively affected.
- Fail Order on Android reaches parity with iOS in this release; both platforms now support the same functionality at the same stage of the order lifecycle.
Looking Forward
Dispatch software is judged less by how well it handles the plan, and more by how gracefully it handles the plan falling apart. July’s release is built entirely around that second measure, adaptive routing when orders change mid-flight, and a verified vehicle behind every trip that starts.
At TrackoMile, the plan was never the point. What happens when it changes is.
